Product OverviewThe MAX13451EAUD+ is a half duplex RS485 transceiver with integrated 100 ohm/120ohm termination resistors in 14 pin TSSOP package. This device has one RS485transmitter and one RS485 receiver. The resistor values are pin selectable. Alogic supply input allows interfacing to logic levels down to +1.8V. TheMAX13451E has strong drivers specified to drive low impedance lines found whenfully loaded bus (based on today's 100 ohm characteristic impedance cable) isdouble terminated. It allows slew rate limiting of driver output to reduce EMIand reflections for data rates up to 500Kbps. The device also has 1/8 unit loadreceiver input impedance which allows up to 256 transceivers on the bus.
