DC/DC Controller, Synchronous Buck (Step Down), 4.5 V to 60 V, 1 Output, 500kHz, TDFN-8Product OverviewThe MAX15062AATA+T is an ultra small, high efficiency, synchronous step-downDC-DC converter in 8 pin TDFN package. It has a peak current mode controlarchitecture with a MODE pin that can be used to operate device in pulse-widthmodulation (PWM) or pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) control schemes. PWMoperation provides constant frequency operation at all loads & is useful inapplications sensitive to variable switching frequency. PFM operation disablesnegative inductor current & additionally skips pulses at light loads for highefficiency. The low-resistance on-chip MOSFETs ensure high efficiency at fullload & simplify PCB layout. To reduce input inrush current device offers aninternal soft-start. The device also incorporates an EN/UVLO pin that allowsuser to turn on part at desired input-voltage level. An open-drainRESET(complementary) pin can be used for output-voltage monitoring.
