Product OverviewThe MAX211CAI+ is a +5V, RS232 transceiver with four 0.1µF external capacitorsin 28 pin SSOP package. It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with integratedcharge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. It consists of threesections such as charge pump voltage converters, drivers (transmitters) andreceivers. The integrated charge pump circuitry eliminates the need for bipolar±12V supply and enables single supply operation from +5V or 9V to +12V.
