It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with high ±15KV ESD HBM(Human Body Model) protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single 5Vsupply operation. This transceiver meets all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28specifications at data rate up to 120Kbps when loaded.
