Product OverviewThe MAX232ACSE+T is a +5V powered multichannel RS232 driver/receiver in 16 pinNSOIC package. This higher slew rate device is intended for all EIA/TIA-232E andV.28/V.24 communications interfaces. It is particularly suitable forapplications where ±12V is not available. The MAX232A has four sections such asdual charge pump DC to DC voltage converter, RS232 driver, RS232 receiver andreceiver/transmitter enable control inputs. The integrated charge pump circuitryeliminates the need for bipolar ±12V supply and enables single supply operationfrom +5V supply.
