Product OverviewThe MAX232ESE+ is a +5V-powered, multichannel RS-232 Driver/Receiver. Thedriver/receiver is intended for all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communicationsinterfaces, particularly applications where ±12V is not available. TheMAX232ESE+ contains dual charge-pump DC-DC voltage converters, RS-232 drivers,RS-232 receivers and receiver and transmitter enable control inputs. Thereceiver inputs withstand an input overvoltage up to ±25V and provide inputterminating resistors with nominal 5kR values.
