PLL Synthesizer & VCO, 6 GHz, 3 V to 3.6 V supply, TQFN-32Product OverviewThe MAX2870ETJ+ is a 23.5MHz to 6000MHz fractional/ integer-N synthesizer/VCO in32 pin TQFN package. This high performance ultra wideband phase locked loop(PLL) with integrated voltage control oscillator (VCO) is capable of operatingin both integer-N and fractional-N modes. The MAX2870 is capable of synthesizingfrequencies from 23.5MHz to 6GHz while maintaining superior phase noise andspurious performance when combined with an external reference oscillator andloop filter. The ultra wide frequency range is achieved with help of multipleintegrated VCOs covering 3000MHz to 6000MHz and output dividers ranging from 1to 128. The device also provides dual differential output drivers which can beindependently programmable to deliver -4dBm to +5dBm output power. Both outputscan be muted by either software or hardware control.
