Product OverviewThe MAX3033EESE+ is a ±15KV ESD protected, 3.3V quad RS422 transmitter in 16 pinNSOIC package. This high speed transmitter sends digital data transmissionsignals over twisted pair balanced lines in accordance with TIA/EIA-422-B andITU-T V.11 standards. The transmitter output is protected to ±15KV using humanbody model. The MAX3033E has slew rate limiting function to minimize EMI andreduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables. The hot swapcapability of this transmitter eliminates false transitions on data cable duringpower-up or hot insertion. It is low power, ESD protected, pin compatibleupgrade to the industry standard 26LS31 and SN75174 devices.
