Product OverviewThe MAX3093ECPE+ is a ±15KV ESD-protected, 10Mbps, 5V, low power quadRS422/RS485 receiver in 16 pin DIP package. This rugged, low power RS422/RS485receiver features electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for use in harshenvironments. Receiver's inputs are protected to ±15KV using IEC 1000-4-2air-gap discharge, ±8KV using IEC 1000- 4-2 contact discharge and ±15KV usingthe human body model. The receiver has a fail-safe feature that gives a logichigh output if the input is open circuit.
