Product OverviewThe MAX3098EAESE+ is a ±15KV ESD protected, 32Mbps, 3V/5V, triple RS422/RS485receiver with fault detection in 16 pin NSOIC package. This high speed, tripleRS485/RS422 receiver has fault detection circuitry and fault-status outputs. Thefault outputs are active push-pull and do not require pull-up resistors. Thefault circuitry includes a capacitor-programmable delayed FAULT_ output toensure that there are no erroneous fault conditions even at slow edge rates. Thedevice provides an alarm for open circuit conditions, short-circuit conditions,data nearing the minimum differential threshold conditions, data below theminimum threshold conditions and receiver inputs outside the input common moderange.
