Product OverviewThe MAX3241CAI+ is a low power true RS232 transceiver in 28 pin SSOP package.This transceiver has low dropout transmitter output stage enabling true RS232performance from 3V to 5.5V supply with dual charge pump. The device requiresonly four small 0.1µF external charge pump capacitors. The MAX3241 deviceoperates at data rate of 235Kbps and maintains RS232 output levels. Thiscomplete serial port device designed for notebook and subnotebook computers. Ithas shutdown mode in which all receivers can remain active while using only 1µAsupply current.
