Product OverviewThe MAX3313EUB+ is a 460kbps, 1µA supply current, RS232 compatible transceiverin 10 pin µMAX package. This transceiver has a proprietary low dropouttransmitter output stage enabling RS232 compatible operation from a +5V supplywith a single inverting charge pump. The inverting charge pump provides anegative voltage from single +5V supply, it operates in a discontinuous mode andrequires a flying capacitor and a reservoir capacitor to generate V- supply. Thetransmitter is an inverting level translator that converts CMOS logic levels toEIA/TIA-232 compatible levels and receiver converts RS-232 signals to CMOS logicoutput levels.
