Product OverviewThe MAX3320TEAP+ from Maxim Integrated Products is a 3V to 5.5V true RS232transceiver with 4µA AutoShutdown Plus and power-on reset in 20 pin SSOPpackage. It combines microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit with an RS-232transceiver. The power-on reset performs single function that is it asserts areset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage declines below preset threshold,staying asserted for at least 100ms after VCC rises above reset threshold. TheMAX3320T has an active-low RESET output which needs to be in the correct statefor VCC down to 1V. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transientson VCC.
