It is optimized for extendedcable runs in noisy environments and operates from a single 3.3V supply. Thereceiver features unit load input impedance allowing up to 32 devices on asingle bus. Each transceiver includes a fail-safe receiver ensuring that thereceiver output (RO) is high when inputs are shorted, open or connected to atri-state bus.
