Product OverviewThe MAX7317AEE+ is a 10 port SPI-interfaced I/O expander with over voltage andhot insertion protection in 16 pin QSOP package. The serial interfacedperipheral provides microprocessors with 10 I/O ports rated to 7V. Each port canbe individually configured as either an open-drain output or an over voltageprotected schmitt input. It supports hot insertion, all port pins remain highimpedance in power-down (V+ = 0V) with up to 8V asserted on them.
