OLD MAXTER/LAUFFER ART DECO STYLE MANTLE CLOCK
German made - estimated mid 1900's
Ticking and chiming condition!
This beautiful Maxter mantle clock in the art deco style has a German made Lauffer movement and is estimated to date back to at least the mid 1900's.
The case is in good condition, no major damage apart from minor wear to the finish.
The original Lauffer inscribed key and the pendulum is included.
The dial is in good condition apart from the missing Maxter logo, the silhouette of which is still visible. The concave glass cover is original, intact and not cracked or excessively scratched.
The clock is currently ticking and chiming beautifully and has to date been running for more than a day without a problem.
Bear in mind that these clocks are sensitive items and after transportation it may require a service and/or adjustments to have it run perfectly.
The clock measures 42.5cm x 15cm and is about 22cm tall on its 4 brass feet.
