Mayfair Pottery, sometimes known as Royal Mayfair, was a brand of the Chapmans Longton Pottery that was founded in 1916. Chapman's was a subsidiary of Thomas C Wild and Sons that was merged into Allied English Potteries in 1964 and in 1966 the works was closed.
Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks or crazing on the soup bowl and saucer, the platinum trim edging and pattern is in very good condition, with slight blemish on the base of 1 x saucer due to the platinum trim colour - it is not visible when set on the table.
