Made of Die cast resin with some plastic parts.

The first generation of the Mazda RX7 was presented early in 1978 and was characterized by an advanced 2292cc and 105 horsepower Wankel (rotary) engine. With the RX7 name, Mazda would then continue in the development of sports cars featuring advanced technological contents. The dimensions of the RX7, a 2 + 2 coupé with clean and pleasing lines, were more or less those of the competitor Porsche 924, with which it shared some stylistic choices such as the retractable front headlights. The first generation of the RX7 remained in production until 1982 and also had a good racing career on track and in rallies. Many still remember the surprise victory at the 1981 24 Hours of Spa of the specimen prepared by Tom Walkinshaw Racing.
