The UKT5-634-SM is a 4-pole, manually operated change-over switch that is surface-mounted and enclosed in PVC. It is built for a 63-amp rating and provides a secure, IP65-rated enclosure, indicating protection from dust and water. 

Manual operation
The switch is controlled with a handle on the enclosure. The typical settings are: 
  • Position 1: Connects the load to the primary power source.
  • Position 0: Disconnects the load from both power sources.
  • Position 2: Connects the load to the secondary power source (e.g., a generator).
  • The faceplate can also be customized to display the positions as 1-0-2. 
Safety features
  • IP65 enclosure: The PVC enclosure is rated for dust-tight and water-jet protection, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Padlockable handle: The operating handle can be secured with a padlock, preventing unauthorized use.
