"The Best of Meco" is an unusual blend of the classical and disco, a truly unique marriage that was representative of dance music's heydey. Every cut is designed to make one get on his feet and let the music take one one a journey through time and space. The monumental "Star Wars" adaptation is presented in its entirety and it still packs a whallop. Other selections of note are "The Love Theme from Superman," "Topsy," a 1920's-sounding cut with a 70's beat, and "Werewolf (Loose in London)," a song that owes much to the vocal stylings of Queen's Freddie Mercury.
