Two base metal badges (Navy League - Keep Watching)
Sterling silver badge (Navy League - War Fund)
Central Mines Rifle Association silver medal (36mm in diameter) awarded during the Boer War inscribed "B Class, March Medal. 1901. Won by Lce Corp. S.C. Steil. Rand Rifles". The medal is similar to Laidlaw #1272, but does not carry the wording of the jewelers C.P. Heydenrych. (The medal could be unique).
Special Service decoration of the Navy League awarded to S.C. Steil, Esq. According to the accompanying newspaper clip, less than half a dozen of these awards were presented to South Africans.
