The Mede8er has been designed for good solid media playback from a hard drive, USB device, SD Card, Internet or Local Network source. The User Interface is neat and intuitive without being complicated. Sanji have more than achieved its design goals of offering a media player that supports most of the popular media formats at a very affordable price. The Mede8er fully supports the very latest MKV-H264 codec that achieves an incredible compression ratio whilst still maintaining a reasonable file size. The MED500X is not supplied standard with an internal Hard Drive. Certain regions will offer bundle deals that include the Hard Drive - please check the packaging for details.

 | The MED500X is fitted standard with the special custom manufactured Mede8er Monprene low Shaw hardness TPE fan mounts. The mounts absorb the bulk of the fan vibration - very much like a cars shock absorber system with a result of a very quite running player. The special low rpm fan used in the MED500X minimises the effects of fan wind noise. |
