In Woman
Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) is a prevalent problem. Recent studies have indicated that 1 out of 4 women over 20 years of age experience incontinence. Treatment of SUI has been varied and ranges from simple containment (diapers, etc.) without specific treatment of the condition, to Kegel exercises to re-train the pelvic floor muscles, and surgical procedures such as suspensions and sling operations. Unfortunately, since Kegel exercise efficiency is so low, this type of therapy leaves much to be desired. Surgical sling procedures are effective with a high dress of satisfaction, but the treatment is invasive.
Now prescribed for women by urologists, gynecologists and psychologists world wide for sexual dysfunction, incontinence, and depression related to sexual dysfunction.
