Melianthus comosus or Kruidjie-roer-my-nie as it is commonly known in Afrikaans forms an eye-catching multi-stemmed shrub which is perfect for the low maintenance, water-wise garden. As the English common name, Honey flower, so justly points out, the plant’s flowers produce copious amounts of sweet nectar which will attract sunbirds and butterflies to the garden.
