The WaterInca Melted-Spray sediment filter is usually the first stage in the water filtration system. This sediment filter is designed to remove visible particles such as mud, rust, sand, dust and silt from the water. It also removes turbidity, which is the cloudiness caused by a large number of particles in water.

The Melted-Spray filter cartridges have a multi-layer structure of melt-blown 100% pure thermal bond polypropylene fiber, thus not making use of a chemical binder. Our filters come in a range micron ratings, namely 1m, 5m, 10m, 20m, 30m, 50m and 100m. The micron rating is the size of hole in the filter that prevents particle from passing through. There is no price difference between the micron ratings, but we usually ship the 5m rated filter unless otherwise requested.
