Memories of a Game Ranger by Harry Wolhuter is   a classic account of the life of a game ranger in the days when  only a few men patrolled the wild country of the  present Kruger National Park,  which  emerged as the magnificent sanctuary of today. Wolhuter made his debut in 1902 as Warden of the newly proclaimed Sabi Game Reserve.
