Part of a series issued in the year 2000 (which ran to 75 issues). The original packaging doesnt exist, as it came in a sealed plastic container which had to be cut open to access the figurine. About the Collection
The original Men at War 1914-1945 were made up of the following:
75 Accurately reproduced die cast figures, measuring approximately 7 cm. The magazines accompanying the miniatures provide information about the particular figure, and others, with full-colour illustrations.
The soldiers making up the collection are the subject of the same scrupulous selection process as those that appear in the publications by Osprey, specialists in military and historical subject matter, who have in turn collaborated with the design of the figures in this collection. As well as detailing the soldier in question, the included Osprey booklet also offers the opportunity to view other closely related military figures belonging to the same force or field of action. This fully explains the historical context of each figure in the collection.
