6 Pockets in total, 2 on the black side, 4 on the red side.

There is an attached hood that rolls up and stores inside a collar
compartment so you can wear it with or without a hood.

Note: Please be aware here is a factory defect where the clip closures on the wrist cuffs
and pocket closures is missing but this shouldn't affect the comfort of the item.
