The 350SL R.H.D is a scarce model in SA . A batch of these were destined for the Australian market but because of some import problems were diverted to Port Elizabeth and sold in SA , They all were issued with special registration Papers which were dated 1900. The Mercedes Benz production certificate shows date of manufacture 1979 , all engine and chassis numbers correspond with the certificate . copies attached .
