ON AUCTION IS A VINTAGE GLASS PAPERWEIGHT DISPLAYING THE CONTROLLED BUBBLES ART GLASS TECHNIQUE.
The Controlled bubble art glass technique, called Bullicante, features intentionally trapped, symmetrically arranged air bubbles within glass, famously perfected by Mid-Century Murano artists. Created by poking holes in molten glass with metal spikes before covering with another layer, this technique produces decorative, suspended bubble patterns, often used in paperweights like ours..
DIMENSIONS: 7CM DIAMETER WITH FLAT BASE
CONDITION: CAN FEEL A SURFACE UNEVENNES OR ROUGHNESS NEAR BASE ON ONE SIDE. I DOUBLE CHECKED IT HAS NO CHIPS. NO CRACKS. GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION.
