MESS DRESS UNIFORM OF THE RHODESIAN ARMY CHIEF PAYMASTER

The Mess Dress Uniform of Lt. Col. Norman Stockton, Chief Paymaster and Director of Pay of the Rhodesian Army from January 1977 to September 1979.

Whilst Paymaster of the Rhodesian SAS he passed the full SAS selection course and was also a member of that Elite Unit and therefore authorized to wear the SAS Parachute Wings, which are displayed on the uniform.  A unique individual, not counted as a Penguin but as a full member of the SAS. 

As a result this uniform is an extremely rare and unique item, not to be found again.

There is staining along the fold of the lapels, but should come out when cleaned (as seen in photo 4).
