The Metal detector has a 17cm diameter coil detector, extending shaft, visual and audible indicators, tune control for tailoring the sensitivity to the conditions, 3.5mm headphone socket, and a ferrous/non-ferrous discriminator to distinguish between iron or steel from silver and gold. It weighs just 710 grams and requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied).
