Way before the days of "Enter Sandman" and the subsequent commercial "radio-friendly" hits, a small band from San Francisco recorded an album on a tiny independent label called Megaforce Records, based on the awesome Dave Mustaine co-written "No Life Til Leather" demo.
Originally meant to be called "Metal Up Your Ass", this album has been hailed as some of the best work Metallica ever recorded, and the late great Cliff Burton's bass solo never fails to deliver the goods... this was 1983 - thrash was in its infancy and Metallica were basically inventing it with this record.
There are very few of these original pressings around, especially in this condition. The sleeve is EX- there is a small fold on the top leeft corner, and tiny signs of wear. The vinyl is EX ... a few small minor surface marks
