Metalrite Galvanised Iron Cleaner 5L

Metalrite Galvanised Iron Cleaner is the most effective
way to prepare galvanized iron for painting. It removes the
fat/oily layer on galvanizing and forms a substrate on which
paint will successfully adhere. It prevents the common problem
of paint peeling on new and weathered galvanized iron steel,
gutters and down pipes etc.

  Intended Use:
  
  Cleans, degreases and prepares surfaces for painting. Use on
  new or weathered galvanized iron, mild steel, Chromadek,
  Aluzinc and IBR.
  
  Does three jobs in one treatment:
  
  
• Effectively removes fat and oil.
• Prepares iron for paint.
• Prevents paint peeling.
• Creates a surface to which paint will adhere. 

Surface Preparation:

IMPORTANT: 

• Heavy duty galvanizing is more difficult to clean than
  lightweight galvanizing.
• Clean all equipment immediately with water.
• Rubber
  gloves are recommended to protect hands.
• Not suitable for ferrous surfaces.
• Do not mix with Mineral Turpentine.
