Methuseli Tshuma was born in Mbaulo, Zimbabwe in the early 1970's. He is the nephew of the Late Zephania Thsuma, a wellknown wood sculptor.

For the Tshuma's, art was a family affair, the wives would gather the wood, the younger women would draw the eyes and the children applied polish, wax and paint.

Methuseli began carving in the late 1980's and his work has become as collectable as his uncle's.

He has exhibited in Zimbabwe, Holland, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Belgium and the UK.
