Seminars in Art: Portfolio 7 - Composition as Expression

The seventh portfolio in a series of 'seminars' published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art during the 1950s. Contains a sleeve of 12 glossy colour plates (all present in perfect - though slightly yellowed - condition) that are discussed in the text, which also has many additional b/w illustrations throughout.

Hardcover in very good condition. Grey paper-covered boards with pictorial paste-on. Clean, neat and tightly bound. No dust wrapper. Mildly edge worn and lightly scuffed, with evidence of insect damage at the top of the front board as shown in photo.
