2CT comprises a harder compound in the centre to cope with hard acceleration and braking, and a softer compound around the edges to maximise lean angle. This was the first scooter tyre incorporating MICHELIN Two Compound technology (2CT), initially developed for racing competition and the top sports bikes on the market.

More durability thanks to the lightly grooved central band on the front and rear tyres: the MICHELIN Power Pure SC tyre has more rubber in the area which takes the most impact.

This tyre maintains its great performance throughout its lifespan thanks to the tread pattern which originated from high performance Michelin sports tyres. Rubber compound knowledge developed from racing was adapted to balance grip versus wear.
