Dual MOSFET Driver, Low Side, 4.5V-18V Supply, 6A Out, 40ns Delay, SOIC-8Product OverviewThe MCP1406-E/SN is a high-speed Power MOSFET Driver features a single-outputwith 6A peak drive current capability, low shoot-through current, Matched riseand fall times and propagation delay times. This device is pin-compatible andare improved versions of the TC4420/TC4429 MOSFET drivers. The MCP1406 MOSFETdriver can easily charge and discharge 2500pF gate capacitance in under 20ns,provides low enough impedances (in both the on and off states) to ensure thatintended state of the MOSFETs will not be affected, even by large transients.The input to the MCP1406 may be driven directly from either TTL or CMOS (3 to18V). This device is highly latch-up resistant under any conditions that withintheir power and voltage ratings.
