Analogue to Digital Converter, 10 bit, 22.3 kSPS, Single Ended, I2C, Single, 2.7VProduct OverviewThe MCP3021A5T-E/OT is a 10-bit low power Analogue-to-digital Converter (ADC).This device provides one/single-ended input with very low power consumption. TheMCP3021 provides a low maximum conversion current and standby current of 250µAand 1µA respectively. Communication to the MCP3021 is performed using a 2-wireI²C compatible interface. Standard (100kHz) and fast (400kHz) I²C compatiblemodes are available with the device. An on-chip conversion clock enablesindependent timing for the I²C compatible clock and the conversion clock. Thedevice is also addressable allowing up to eight devices on a single 2-wire bus.The MCP3021 runs on a single supply voltage that operates over a broad range of2.7 to 5.5V. This device also provides excellent linearity of ±1 LSBdifferential non-linearity and ±1 LSB integral non-linearity. Operatingtemperature range for this device is -40 to +125°C.
