This new family of device offers all of the advantages of thewell recognized PIC18F high performance MCUs, 8-bit, C compiler optimizedarchitecture and an industry leading peripheral set now available in a lowpin-count option. This new 20-pin product includes a 16MHz precision internaloscillator which can be used with the standard 4X PLL to produce 16 MIPS ofperformance (64MHz at 3V). Standard analogue peripherals include 12 channels of10-bit A/D, dual rail-rail comparators with improved input/output multiplexingand an on-chip selectable fixed voltage reference. Digital peripherals includean enhanced capture/compare/PWM (ECCP+) module with PWM steering and a MasterSynchronous Serial Port (MIC, SPI) module with software controllable addressmasking.
