The RN4677 module is a dual modeBluetooth module that complies with Bluetooth core specification 4.0. The RN4677is interfaced using a simple command interface over the UART. Out of the box,this versatile board utilizes it is built in USB-to-serial capability tocommunicate with the on-board RN4677. When plugged in to a PC, the board willenumerate as communication device class (CDC) serial device. Through a terminalprogram, user can configure and control the module and transfer data using theeasy to use provided command set. As a PICtail/PICtail plus, the board can beplugged into explorer16 (DM240001), the XLP 16-bit development board (DM240311)or the PIC32 starter kit I/O expansion board (DM320002).
