The vintage, mid-20th Century sterling silver has two grooved, curved elements mounted onto five curved, long, thin elements. The brooch is decorated with seven marquise-cut, light-blue rhinestones set in a semi-circle. The brooch is marked "STERLING; d c/e" which is the mark of Curtis Jewellers, Providence, Rhode Island, USA. The company produced high quality silver, gilded and gold jewellery in the mid-20th Century, usually set with rhinestones.
