MID-CENTURY MODERN SOUTH AFRICAN STUDIO CERAMIC ART DECO VASE.

Cone shaped on a round base with horizontally ribbed wings, glossy black glaze, H 21 x W 13 x D 10,5 cm. Suspect it is a Silwood Ware vase as they used white / buff clay for their ware. No markings on the base, as they used a foil sticker . Excellent condition with no damage, however there is a small unglazed spot on the base, being a makers defect.

This vase forms part of a collection of seven black mid-century modern vases, now on offer individually. All the vases are from South African Studio Pottery such as Lucia, BEP, Drostdy, Silwood Ware etc. Please look at the other vases on offer.
