Ngwenya River Lodges are set on the very edge of the Crocodile River overlooking a magnificent floodplain on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park in an area teeming with Big game. This situation makes for great game spotting as animals come across the floodplain to drink from the river. Birdlife is diverse and prolific (300 species).

The     exceptional riverfront setting of Ngwenya River Lodges is ideal for     relaxed game viewing and bird watching. The area teems with big game   and   guests can expect to see a variety of animals (elephants, rhino,     buffalo, hippos, lion, leopard, wild dogs etc ). On occasions all of   the   Big Five have been seen in the course of a single day. From time   to   time kills are also reported. The Crocodile River which flows past   each   lodge can be likened to a personal waterhole. One does not have   to  spend  hours driving around looking for game if you don’t want to.
