IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH SOME CORNER TEARS. ALTHOUGH SOME PARTS ARE LOOSE ALL APPEAR TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR. WITH INSTRUCTION BOOKLET.

C-47 SKYTRAIN:
The DC-3, the most famous of all transport aeroplanes has become known in nearly every part of the world as DAKOTA. It has been used by pratically every nation from America to the Soviet Union, by both China and all of the allies during World War II. After World War II it was used in the Berlin airlift, in Korea, during the Israeli-Arab conflicts, and finally became famous in its offensive role in Vietnam as the AC-47 GUNSHIP. The principal military version of the DC-3 was the C-47 SKYTRAIN. The C-47 could be fitted either as a trooper, with folding benches or as a heavy freighter.
 
ITALERI:
Italeri was founded in the early 60's in Italy.  Since they were boys, the two founders of Italeri, Giuliano Malservisi and  Gian Pietro Parmeggiani loved airplanes and military vehicles. Soon they were no longer satisfied with the models available at the time: they wanted something more and better. What they wanted was not available, so they decided to produce it themselves.
Italeri in time became a leader in modelling, finding its place on the international market. The first scale model launched on the market was the 1:72 scale Italian fighter Fiat G-55 with the brand Airplast. After that the company brand changed in Italeri and the new logo, characterised by red and green stripes remembering the Italian national flag (to identify the Made in Italy of Italeri production), was born.
