Military Star for Indigenous soldiers of Italian Colonies

Awarded to black troops in the Italian Colonies in Africa for good service. Some examples had a crown on top, some don't. This one does have the crown, I'm not sure that means it's an older type or if there were different grades to this award. 

This is a full size medal with no ribbon. It's not named so I don't know its history.
