Softcover book filled with tobacco card set from 1938.

All 50 cards depicting men in their uniforms are neatly glued into their proper boxes; all are secure, clean, and properly mounted. Next to each card is paragraph explaining uniform, along with a drawing of the place the uniform was worn.

John Player & Sons was one of the first UK tobacco companies to include sets of general interest cards in their packs of cigarettes. Player issued more than 200 sets of such cards and some were reprinted in the 1990s. This one is the original issue.
