The company - Cristalerias Rigolleau - was Founded in 1882 by Leon Rigolleau and nephew Gaston Fourvel-Rigolleau in Buenos Aires.
In 1907, the factory was moved to Berazategui, Argentina (a suburb of Buenos Aires) along the Rio de la Plata River.
The company first started production with ink bottles and expanded into beer and wine bottles followed by pharmaceutical ware, decorative glass, opal, tableware and tubing.
In 1937, they were awarded the Gold Medal at the International Exposition for crystal artware.
In 1943, Corning Glass Works of South America acquired a minority interest in Rigolleau.
In 1945, they started producing Pyrex ovenware.
Condition: Very Good, no marks or scratches on the dish, the artwork pattern is unmarked, a rare find and in excellent condition.
