Watercolour drawing of Milkhouse Street, Kent (which was renamed Sissinghurst in the 1850s). It has been attributed (by the Parker Gallery?) to Francis Grose (1731-1791).
A superb early English watercolour.
The image itself measures 15 x 19 cm.
Backing board has the label of the Parker Gallery, 'the oldest established firm of picture and print dealers' (established 1750). Provenance: From the Thomas Pennant and Earl of Denbigh collections.
Very good condition. Unframed.
