A strong early Savoy session from vibraphone master Milt "Bags" Jackson, capturing him in multiple roles vibes, piano and even vocals in a hard-bop setting that bridges bebop sophistication and blues feeling. Originally issued on Savoy (MG 12061), this album features sessions engineered by Rudy Van Gelder and showcases Jackson alongside names such as Lucky Thompson, Frank Wess, Kenny Clarke, Percy Heath and others.
